More work today on those tickets I mentioned. Also, I’m expecting my supplies today, so I should be able to get a much better look at what this thing can possibly look like in the real world.

Time to work!

It’s going to be an odd day. I’ve gotten quite a bit done, but I’m also getting repeatedly interrupted, with more to come. For one, my oven broke, and I’m waiting for repair people.

The joys of working from home: I don’t have to rush home to deal with things. I’m already here!

Either way, I have no idea where this day is going to go, but I’m actually quite shocked that it’s been as productive as it already has…

Wheee. A working oven and more completed work on the backlog! The only downside is that the stuff that was supposed to get here today… won’t.

Yeah, it’s delayed until tomorrow. I find it very sad that Amazon can out-ship UPS these days…

Okay, so I think my brain is mush for today.

I started with eighteen “must happen before launch” tickets. I’m down to nine. That’s pretty good, considering that I also refactored a bunch of stuff in the process of dealing with said tickets.

Around half of the remaining ones are items I can’t really do much about just yet, because decisions have yet to be made on underlying business processes. Another quarter are things that are UI design related, and I’m not ready to tackle that yet. So just a few more before… what?

New features next, I guess. Well, no, hardware next, assuming UPS gets my stuff here tomorrow…

Yeah, I need to think about getting the business side of this moving, because the tech side is almost to the point where I can’t (or at least shouldn’t) do much more without committing to actually starting the business.

I’m surprised it’s this far along already.

I think I’ve said that before…
