It’s 4AM. I’m listening to some appropriate Gwen Stefani. It’s time to get to work.

I had a few good ideas for product names.

No domains available, even close.

It’s going to be one of those days.

Ugh. Progress made, but walls and bricks. Taking a break.

Yup. Definitely one of those days. Had some issues with my production blog host, and had to go fix it. Minor in the grand scheme, but I only discovered it when I found that my gitlab server was using 100% of swap; it was too small.

Yeah, just the beginning.

I am so vary thankful for things like terraform…

…and now I’m going to actually take a break, and then maybe I’ll actually get something done later today.

Yesterday was such a good day. I don’t need the let down of one that ends up being bad, though admittedly I’m proably overdue…

I’d guess I’m maybe 60% of the way through implementing the first working version of this particular feature. It’s a beast, and it’s also pointing out that I’m going to be spending days refactoring due to some poor assumptions.

I hate it when that happens.

It’s not actually that bad, but it is annoying. I really want this done, though. I have more hardware-related pieces coming soon so I can figure out the physical packaging for this thing, and I want to be done with this by then. I think I’ve got two or three days left.

Right now? Lunch, relatively speaking.

I’m crashing. I don’t know why, but I am. Nap time.

On the upside, I think I’m at 80% now…

First version of my feature is now threaded through to the point that it works. And that just proves how much work I still have to do. It’s progress, though!
